
Group fitness can be a great way for people to meet and get in shape. USF Recreation & Wellness offers free group fitness classes on campus. There are many classes available, from Total Body Fitness to Yoga. All instructors are certified nationally and will offer a challenging but rewarding workout for all levels. No matter what level you are, there is a class suitable for you.

The gym is open to all, but Group Fitness classes can be accessed via Microsoft Teams. This page will contain the schedule as well as other important information. All Group Fitness classes are free to attend, so there's no need to make a reservation ahead of time. You can sign up online or at a kiosk located in the Campus Recreation Center lobby. Participants who sign up for more than one class may register as "Standbys" up until five minutes before classes begin. Those who don't register will be automatically refunded their membership if they're found to have misrepresented their personal information.
There are many classes offered through Campus Recreation. Some classes are held at the Campus Recreation Center and the WELL Fitness Center. Some are streamed using Microsoft Teams, so participants don’t have to travel anywhere to attend the class. Although in-person classes can be attended by all students, they may not be available for everyone. If the WELL Health Center is not available, or they require a private space for their meetings, then some groups prefer to meet at a different location.

Group Fitness also offers Group Cycle, a unique feature. This class is an indoor cycling class that challenges riders to increase their speed and endurance. Its MyWellness app allows you to track your cardio workouts. Cycle Concert Series allows patrons live to their favorite musicians, with a new artist being featured every week. These unique programs are available to everyone and are a great way to get a workout in without getting in the way of others.
